TMoseley

Taylor Moseley, a fresh take on simple.

I spotted her preview collection easily at the opening for Austin’s newest jewelry boutique, Mana Culture. Gold dipped leaves provide the backdrop for some sensual shades inspired by the elements. The color palette picks up the nuances offered from the skies, the land and the sea. A breathe of fresh air in the jewelry world of costume-landia, Taylor Moseley offers pieces that are, simply put, just plain beautiful. We were able to meet up later in the evening to discuss her upcoming Estilo Debut. She was completely taken back when I gleefully declared that upon spotting her work I knew it.

With wine in hand and a back drop setting full of Bollywood and fire dancing, Allison and I talked about her childhood dreams of becoming “an inventor”. A handful of years living in the structure of a corporate world gave the petite framed designer the drive to make her own way. Initially drawn to the aesthetic of fashion and design, she pursued a short stint at the local jewelry workshops around town that resonated with her creative drive.

Design driven boutique Estilo has given Taylor Moseley the official blessing, a trunk show for the burgeoning talent. I was kindly shown a sneak peak to the new line that will debut later this week. I am absolutely in love. Lips are tightly sealed until later this week, but all I can say now is YOWZA, this one has been added to the Christmas list. Please Santi, I’ve been an awfully good girl.
