Valentine’s at the Showroom
Our Valentine’s dinner date was at the Eastside Showroom. I decided to go for a newly acquired cobalt blue dress that I also picked up from Buy Definition. This particular color has attracted me like a moth to a flame. It’s almost a surreal color – I want to see more of this cobalt blue in clothing. We took tons of pictures at the Showroom but because of the lighting they didn’t come out so well.
We skipped the cards and flowers and went decided to splurge on food.
This is a list of what we ate (don’t judge me): French76 – a variation of the French77 that Adam (bartender) invented, a Showroom plate – which is an array of cheeses and charcuterie, P.E.I. steamed mussels in a white wine sauce, mustard & beer braised beef soup, beef tenderloin with cauliflower mash, & short ribs with grits, a creme brulee dessert & an awesome beer called The Hairy Eyeball.
The Showroom has the MOST AMAZING SOUPS. I normally just grab a cup of soup and a croissant and eat off friends plates for taste. The dishes they create are truly masterpieces. Simple, no frills and absolutely gourmet at the same time. Go there.

You look beautiful! And you know i love the scarf
